Candles-

This is the easiest way to get your home smelling of fall.  Go to any local home goods store or supermarket and you will be sure to find a large variety of scented candles.  Pick which one smells best to you and purchase it. Make sure the candle you pick is not made with any harmful chemicals that will be released when you burn it.  Most should have the ingredients listed on its label or an all natural sticker on it.  If you want to try a cooler method for a scented candle, begin by saving your orange peels.  Make sure the peel is completely in tact with a short wick like stem in the middle.  Pour roughly 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil into the peel and let sit for a couple minutes.  Now simply light the stem and enjoy the fresh scent..

Homemade Potpourri-

Potpourri is very easy to make and surprisingly effective at creating an enjoyable for any season. To start gather a few of your favorite fruit and fall spices (cinnamon sticks, apples, oranges and cloves are common).  Slice your fruit nice and thin and then bake in the oven neatly on a cookie sheet at 250 degrees to dry them out.  Once they are dry mix the fruit together with your chosen spices and let sit for a day to marinate.  Once done set the mix out on display and let it do its work.  If you want an added kick add essential oils to your mix.
